On 22 April, 2024, a commemoration event dedicated to the life of Lithuanian linguist, doctor of humanitarian sciences Jonas Zemvaldas Balkevičius took place at the White Hall of Vilnius University Library. In tandem with that, an exhibition of various documents related to Balkevičius' life was opened at the Mažoji ekspozicija XXI-XXII exhibition space nearby.
