On 25 October of 2022 VU Library hosted Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium.
The Royal Couple visited Franciszek Smuglewicz Hall where they met with the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and the First Lady Diana Nausėdienė.
To these distinguished guests we presented various maps and documents important to the Belgian history, including the family tree of the Belgian Royal Family.
