Presentation of book about Jan Karol Chodkiewicz at Vilnius Book Fair 2023.
“Jan Karol Chodkiewicz: Impavidus pro patria mori – Fearless to Die for the Homeland” – that is the title of the book prepared by Vilnius University Library about the distinguished European military commander of the early seventeenth century, the Great Hetman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, who led many famous battles.
Participants of the discussion: the rector of Vilnius University professor Rimvydas Petrauskas, Dr Genutė Kirkienė, Dr Kęstutis Kilinskas and one of the creators of this book - Sondra Rankelienė. The event was moderated by journalist Edmundas Jakilaitis.
