In this section, you will find captured moments of openings of the exhibitions in VU Library and photos of the exhibits themselves.

In its holdings, the Library has got old cultural heritage documents: manuscripts, rare books, a large collection of graphic, cartographic works and other documents.

One of the tasks of the Library is to present to the public the valuable cultural heritage that is significant in the history of Lithuanian culture and science. In addition to exhibiting these documents, the Library annually holds exhibitions aimed at marking significant dates for science and culture, commemorating anniversaries of the university, the Library itself, or distinguished members of our society, and presenting artistic initiatives of Lithuanian creators.

In cooperation with various cultural and educational institutions, the Library also organises international exhibitions promoting science, heritage and cultural projects from foreign countries.
