On 20 April, 2023, President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, visited Scholarly Communication and Information Centre of Vilnius University Library.
He was met by Director of VU Library’s Scholarly Communication and Technologies Department Dr Žibutė Petrauskienė and Pro-Rector of Vilnius University professor Edita Sužiedėlienė.
The President was accompanied by Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Robert Khachatryan, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and Rector of Yerevan State University Dr Hovhannes Hovhannisyan.
In the Conference Hall of SCIC the President gave a lecture “Armenia: an imperative to build a new society (democracy and free market economy)”. There was a discussion with students, moderated by professor Alfreda Šapkauskienė.
